Even Better than I Imagined

Alisha says: Being a mom has been even better than anything I imagined. I can't believe how much you can love a helpless little human being but she has totally changed my understanding of love. Dave and I can't help but "ooh" and "ahh" over her. She has the cutest little body, I love her tiny belly, hands, fingers, feet, toes, ears and nose. I've already done things that I thought I would try to avoid like sit and snuggle her for hours while she sleeps just because I can. I'm sure I will regret this when she refuses to sleep unless being held but when I've waited so long for this precious little baby I can't help it. I love it when she opens her eyes and looks at me and then puckers her mouth into a little circle. I don't even mind getting up multiple times during the night to feed her because I love her so much. I love bonding with her while she is breastfeeding. I already feel like time is going by faster than I would like as I can see changes in her even though she is only 11 days old yet it is also fun to see her grow and progress. We are so grateful for our little miracle baby!
